Arcade games can be one part of a birthday rather than the whole schedule. Start by looking at the games available, the children attending and the allowance included in the booking. That tells you more than choosing a theme and assuming every machine will suit the group.
Choose around the guests
Children aged two to nine will not all use an arcade in the same way. A younger child may need help understanding a game, while an older child may already have a favourite. Look at the actual choices when you visit and ask about anything unclear.
Our earlier arcade ideas included shared turns, racing themes and friendly competition. Those can be optional ideas for families to organise where suitable. They are not promises of a particular machine, multiplayer feature, tournament or prize service at Kart Town.
Know how the coins are counted
Kart Town’s Cancun and Hawaii birthday packages each include fifty Kart Koins. Rio includes one hundred. These are shared totals for the package, not an allowance for every child. The package page lists one koin per game.
Decide how you will distribute the shared coins before the children start. A clear explanation helps guests understand the allowance. Avoid describing the package as unlimited arcade play or building a plan around extra coins that have not been purchased.
Fit arcade time around the rest of the party
The birthday packages also include Classic Kart adventures, the playground, bouncy castle and toy car area. Cancun includes one kart adventure per child; Hawaii and Rio include two. Riding requirements still apply, and the track is open to other visitors.
The room booking lasts two hours. Work within that time when thinking about activities, the listed pizza and juice, and the birthday celebration. A loose plan is more useful than promising every guest a fixed sequence through every attraction.
Keep an arcade theme separate from the package
If your child wants an arcade theme, you can consider the decoration and invitation ideas discussed elsewhere on this site. Any extra supplies or parent-organised activities need to follow the venue’s rules. Kart Town permits light decorations but not confetti, loose balloons or piñatas.
