We welcome children of all abilities at Kart Town. If your child has additional, sensory, developmental, behavioural, or other individual needs that may affect their ability to follow safety requirements independently, this information is especially important for you to review before your visit.
The rules below are not specific to children with additional needs. They are mandatory safety requirements that apply equally to every child and every family, with no exceptions.
The go-karting requirements are established by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) and are based on the approved operation of these specific go-karts. Kart Town is required to operate the go-karts in accordance with these requirements and cannot change or make exceptions to them.
1. GO-KARTS — CHILDREN OVER 42″ MUST DRIVE ALONE
Under the TSSA requirements for these go-karts, children over 42 inches (107 cm) must drive the go-kart independently. Adults are not permitted to accompany, ride with, or drive with children over 42 inches. This is a mandatory safety requirement, and no exceptions are permitted.
2. PLAYGROUND & BOUNCY CASTLE — CHILDREN ONLY
The playground and bouncy castle are strictly for children. Adults are not permitted to enter, accompany, or assist children inside. No exceptions.
If your child may have difficulty following these requirements independently, please consider this before visiting Kart Town. Our staff are happy to explain and reinforce the rules, but we cannot make exceptions to these safety requirements.

- Walk-ins only, first-come, first-served. Tickets at reception, no booking needed.
- Tickets & tokens are valid for the same day only.
- Each child needs to purchase a ride or a bundle on every visit to enjoy the facility.
- The track is open to all visitors. Party guests may join the same line to race together.
- Up to two adults can enter per child. Additional adults are $5 each.
- All children must be supervised at all times. Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that their children understand and follow all facility rules.
- For Classic Go-karts: Solo Driving Requirement: Any child measuring over 42 inches (107 cm) must operate the go-kart independently. An adult may not ride in the same kart or accompany the child during the ride. This is a mandatory safety requirement, and no exceptions will be permitted.
- It’s mandatory to sign a waiver.

All tickets and tokens are valid only on the day of purchase. Every child is required to make a purchase for entry to our facility on each visit.
An adventure is a themed light show with special visual and sound effects providing a unique experience every time.
Nothing at all! Our track operators teach all children the basics of driving with detailed instructions. Our Karts are equipped with seat belts and are safe for children.
2-9 is the perfect range for our Karts. The minimum height to ride the original Karts is 80 cm (31″).
Children over 42 inches (107 cm) must drive Classic Karts independently. Adults may not accompany them in the kart, and no exceptions are permitted. For younger or shorter children, ask staff to confirm eligibility before riding. The minimum published height is 31 inches (80 cm), and the combined kart weight limit is 100 kg (220 lb).
Adults cannot ride in a kart with a child who is over 42 inches (107 cm), because those children drive alone. For children from 31 to 42 inches (80 to 107 cm), ask staff about riding with a parent. The combined weight limit is 220 lb (100 kg).
We cannot approve requests for a K1 or K2 License based on ownership of electric toy vehicles at home. Owning electric toy vehicles do not exempt anyone from our height requirements and rules. Please respect our rules and processes as they are in place for everyone’s safety.
Classic Karts are go-karts designed specifically for children aged 2 to 9, providing a safe and fun indoor racing experience at Kart Town in Scarborough.
Every birthday party package is 2 hours. Please vacate the party room by the end of the two-hour booking.
Cancun ($328 plus HST): 8 children, Bird room with 3 tables and 15 seats, 1 adventure (10 laps), 50 Kart Koins, 2 XL cheese pizzas and 8 juice boxes. Hawaii ($388 plus HST): 8 children, Dino room with 4 tables and 17 seats, 2 adventures (20 laps), 50 Kart Koins, 2 XL cheese pizzas and 8 juice boxes. Rio ($638 plus HST): 15 children, Monkey room with 5 tables and 25 seats, 2 adventures (20 laps), 100 Kart Koins, 3 XL cheese pizzas and 15 juice boxes. Every package also includes the playground, bouncy castle, toy car area, an activity coordinator and wristbands.
Cancun and Hawaii include 8 children and allow a maximum of 10, with up to 2 extra children at $30 each on Cancun and $35 each on Hawaii. Rio includes 15 children and allows a maximum of 20, with up to 5 extra children at $35 each. For larger groups or a custom package, call (437) 660-5278.
