We welcome children of all abilities at Kart Town. If your child has additional, sensory, developmental, behavioural, or other individual needs that may affect their ability to follow safety requirements independently, this information is especially important for you to review before your visit.

The rules below are not specific to children with additional needs. They are mandatory safety requirements that apply equally to every child and every family, with no exceptions.

The go-karting requirements are established by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) and are based on the approved operation of these specific go-karts. Kart Town is required to operate the go-karts in accordance with these requirements and cannot change or make exceptions to them.

1. GO-KARTS — CHILDREN OVER 42″ MUST DRIVE ALONE

Under the TSSA requirements for these go-karts, children over 42 inches (107 cm) must drive the go-kart independently. Adults are not permitted to accompany, ride with, or drive with children over 42 inches. This is a mandatory safety requirement, and no exceptions are permitted.

2. PLAYGROUND & BOUNCY CASTLE — CHILDREN ONLY

The playground and bouncy castle are strictly for children. Adults are not permitted to enter, accompany, or assist children inside. No exceptions.

If your child may have difficulty following these requirements independently, please consider this before visiting Kart Town. Our staff are happy to explain and reinforce the rules, but we cannot make exceptions to these safety requirements.

Arcade Games

Cancun and Hawaii include 50 shared Kart Koins, while Rio includes 100. The published package rate is one koin per game.

Questions Parents Ask Before Booking

How long is a birthday party?

Cancun, Hawaii and Rio are two-hour bookings. Check the full package details and plan your room time within the booking.

Can we bring more children?

Cancun allows up to two extra children at $30 each; Hawaii allows up to two at $35 each. Rio allows up to five extra children at $35 each. That means maximum group sizes of 10, 10 and 20 children respectively.

Can we bring a cake or outside food?

Cake, cupcakes and selected outside foods are permitted. Review the allowed foods list before planning your menu. If you bring outside food, the food policy asks you to return the party room 15 minutes before your booking ends.

What should we check before the children ride?

The published minimum Classic Kart riding height is 31 inches (80 cm). Children over 42 inches (107 cm) must drive independently, with no adult accompanying them in the kart. Ask staff about eligibility for younger or shorter children. The combined kart weight limit is 220 lb (100 kg).
