Once you have a venue in mind, the planning becomes a series of smaller decisions. Confirm the booking, settle the guest list and work out what you need to bring. Decorations can wait until those details are clear.
Count guests before choosing the room
Write down the children you intend to invite and the adults who may accompany them. Ask about any participation or food needs before finalising the arrangements. For ages two to nine, children in the same group may need different levels of help.
At Kart Town, Cancun and Hawaii include eight children each, with up to two paid extras. Rio includes fifteen, with up to five paid extras. Confirm adult numbers in the booking form. Do not use the number of seats in a room as a substitute for the package’s guest rules.
Read the activity allowances
Cancun includes one Classic Kart adventure per child; Hawaii and Rio include two. The playground, bouncy castle and toy car area are included, along with shared Kart Koins. Check riding eligibility before promising a ride to every guest.
The birthday booking is not exclusive track use. Other visitors may be using the track, and Formula Karts are not available for parties. The shared arcade coin allowance also needs to be considered as a group total.
Separate included food from your own arrangements
Cancun and Hawaii list two XL cheese pizzas and eight juice boxes. Rio lists three XL cheese pizzas and fifteen juice boxes. Small plates, napkins, cutlery and cups are included.
If you plan to bring anything else, read the allowed-foods policy first. Discuss dietary questions directly rather than assuming a substitution or special menu is available.
Send useful invitations
Kart Town is inside Parkway Mall at 85 Ellesmere Road, Unit 102, Scarborough. Include the confirmed date, start and finish times and an RSVP request. The packages list custom email and PDF invitations.
Room bookings last two hours, and the room must be vacated at the end. Keep that finish time in mind when arranging food and the birthday celebration. Light decorations are permitted, but confetti, loose balloons and piñatas are not.
The package lists an activity coordinator and activity schedule. Confirm how your plans fit the booking; do not assume custom games, playlists or extra equipment will be supplied.
