Indoor Go-Karting for Kids in Toronto
Kart Town runs an indoor go-kart track built for children aged 2 to 9, inside Parkway Mall in Scarborough, minutes from Highway 401 and the DVP. Two kinds of karts share the track: Classic Karts for ages 2 to 9 and the faster Formula Karts for ages 6 to 9. Every ride is a five-minute drive, the track is indoors and open all year, and the same ticket gives two hours in the playground, bouncy castle and toy car area.

Classic Karts: Ages 2 to 9
Classic Karts are the original Kart Town go-karts, sized for young drivers. A ride is called an Adventure: five minutes of driving, about ten laps, with a themed light show and sound effects that change from ride to ride. Our track operators teach every child the basics before they start, and the karts have seat belts.
- Minimum height: 31 inches (80 cm).
- Solo driving: children over 42 inches (107 cm) drive alone; an adult cannot ride with them. For children from 31 to 42 inches, ask staff about riding with a parent.
- Weight limit: 220 lb (100 kg) combined in the kart.
- Available: every day Kart Town is open, and in every birthday package.
Formula Karts: Ages 6 to 9, Weekdays
Formula Karts are faster than the Classic Karts and run on weekdays only. A ride is five minutes, about 15 laps. Children between 120 cm (47 inches) and 150 cm (59 inches) tall can ride; a child under 120 cm can earn a licence from the track operators once they show they can drive safely and follow track rules. Adults do not ride the Formula Karts, and they are not part of birthday packages.
Walk-In Prices Per Child
No booking is needed for go-karting. Buy a ride or a bundle at reception; tickets and arcade tokens are valid on the day of purchase. Every child needs a ride or bundle to enter, and up to two adults can come in per child (extra adults are $5 each).
- Track only: single Classic Kart ride, $15.
- Basic bundle, $20: two hours of access, 1 Adventure (about 10 laps) and 5 arcade tokens.
- Value bundle, $25: two hours of access, 2 Adventures and 5 arcade tokens.
- VIP bundle, $30: two hours of access, 2 Adventures and 10 arcade tokens.

Go-Kart Birthday Parties
Every birthday package includes go-karting on the Classic Karts along with a private themed party room for two hours, the playground, bouncy castle and toy car area, arcade tokens, pizza, juice and an activity coordinator. Cancun (8 children, 1 Adventure each) is $328 plus HST, Hawaii (8 children, 2 Adventures each) is $388 plus HST and Rio (15 children, 2 Adventures each) is $638 plus HST. The track stays open to all visitors during a party, and party guests join the same line to race together. Compare the rooms on the birthday packages page.
Safety Rules on the Track
The go-karting requirements come from the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) and apply to every child, with no exceptions. The main ones: children over 42 inches drive the Classic Karts alone, the combined weight in a kart stays under 220 lb, and Formula Kart drivers need to be between 120 and 150 cm tall or hold a licence from the operators. Staff explain the rules before every ride. If your child may find it hard to follow instructions on the track on their own, please read the additional needs information before you visit.
Hours and Getting Here
